Hip Hop Spread Two

My Typography III class' final project is to create a book about the history of music in Detroit. The book is required to have five sections featuring: motown, blues+jazz, hip hop, punk+rock, and electronica.

My concept for the book was a David Carson-esque style of design with extremely expressive color and typography. I want each section to feel as if you are listening to that kind of music as you read.
The full-size book will be 9x24" when open.

This spread is the second of three in the hip hop section.

OH OH! And it is only full of filler greek for right now (incase you are wondering why it doesn't say anything)-- beginning stages!
